Oh my did we have a big horse weekend! Katie got to officially ride her new horse Mister Hennessey. Both of her lessons went great! He is such a big sweetie. On Saturday after her lesson we went to buy all sorts of stuff for him and her. Katie got another saddle but this one is a western saddle. Katie is really starting to enjoy the western riding. She also got a pair of western boots and her very own spurs! Mister Hennessey really raked it in. He got two new sheets, a warm winter blanket and hood and a slinky that goes over his head to keep his mane nice and pretty. Of course with all this buying going on, Chris could not be left out so he got a new pair of cool looking boots. I think they are either croc or alligator? Katie also had a lesson on Sunday and did great too. She thought it was funny when her trainer Shane got on the back of the horse with her.
